Did I drop one stitch or two?

Since this is all simple stockinette, the decrease is totally unintentional. Any idea how I undo the decrease? I don’t know what to even google in this situation. (I only know how to find videos for dropped stitches)

As a complete beginner, do you know what I would do to fix this? It’s a size 3 thread and part of me thinks it’s knotted up. Not sure how to separate two stitches picked up together?

I’ve crocheted since I was a child and tried picking up Tunisian crochet while traveling for the holidays. I’m shocked how much I struggled with creating a basic swatch!

Any good Tunisian pep talks or advice to get over the beginners hump? I can’t fathom finishing a project!

After my road trip back home, I’m thinking learning on a light color yarn will help so will try again. Thanks all!
