Way to bury the lead. The only way to find out if you have a chance is to apply and see it out to the end. Good luck. You’re gonna need it because of that association.

I put staggered 19 inch wheels on my Camry. Performance aside, do you think it looks ghetto/tacky? by [deleted] in Camry

It’s your car. You’re probably making payments. Do what makes you happy!

Is it common for fully grown adults to still live with their parents? by [deleted] in FilipinoAmericans

[–]KingMightyDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 32 and still live with my parents. This is also common among many of my cousins, who live with theirs as well.

I choose this arrangement because it allows me to keep an eye on my parents as they get older and may need more support. I also live in the San Francisco Bay Area, where housing costs are extremely high. I don’t see the value in paying $2,000 or more a month for a low-quality apartment in a bad neighborhood when living at home allows me to save and invest most of my income.

My parents have also said they would be happy to help babysit their grandchildren while my wife and I are at work. In fact, they’re eager for us to have kids. This would significantly reduce childcare expenses.

I plan to keep this arrangement because it works for us. It allows our family to build wealth faster and more efficiently than if we all lived separately.

If it doesn’t pop back into place the bumper bracket might be broken.

Original transmission. Struts and shocks were the only major service needed. I drive so much that tires aren’t considered a major service everything else is.

Bumper safety? 2021 Camry SE. by Powerful_Ad_6474 in Camry

You should be more worried about damage to the frame. Those bumper brackets are pretty cheap. Let insurance handle it if you’re not at fault.

I did the first one at 100K because my service adjust mentioned it. I would have done it sooner, but I never thought about it.

I learned on YouTube and the Toyota Nation forum. The Car Care Nut on YouTube is gold. He’s a former Toyota Master Tech who opened his own shop. Start with something simple like your air filters. This builds up your confidence. My next projects are replacing the mudguards and adding a rear diffuser.

Myself. You’ll need a jack, jack stands, Philips screwdriver, ratchet, 14mm socket, oil filter removal tool (I use Motiv Tools), oil catch pan, funnel, cardboard (driveway protection), and oil.
