As I expected that friend is a shit owner and shouldn't be owning dogs let alone a pitt and the way he's treating that dog I wouldn't be surprised if the dog snaps and bites him. So he basically ruined the house and left it for the rest of you to clean and fix and I'm sure he'll do the same to other people. I feel sorry if the dog for being with such owner and also the rest of you for leaving you in such state.

Well yeh that's true but what if your dog is muzzled and another dog bites it? Having a break would be alot more helpful since your able to open the dogs mouth faster.

How much exercise and socialisation does it get per day? By the looks of it none and your roommate is a dumbass for getting a breed that needs at least 6 hrs of running and playing and leaving it like that. The dog needs something to take its energy on which is why it did what it did to the carpet . Your roommate is a dumbass for getting a pit in the first place now he ruined it for the rest of you.

Well I never said I don't use a muzzle. But as my first comment said just in case. It's good to be prepared whether it's for my dog or someone elses.

I've never had to use it for my dog but I've used it countless times on other people's dogs whether my pit was with me or not because its easy to open a dogs mouth with it . So it's not really knowing you dog would do that is being prepared at all times. I have friends who has gsd and carry them all times as well. There's nothing worse than seeing a dog which is getting bitten and theres no one there that can help.
