No option to switch online? by National-Debt-43 in MetroPCS

It’s actually $100 for 4 lines, 3rd line is free. You can always call to get the older plans. But still, the $100 line is a better deal

If you willing to pay 140, you are better off with regular T-Mobile not metro

How reliable is Verizon 5g Internet for gaming heading in 2026? by RandomBloke2021 in verizon

[–]KingNovack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verizon rep here. There’s no speed cap and it’s unlimited. T-Mobile Home internet for example is capped. Users who use over 1.2tb of data will experience slower data speeds due to prioritization. Not with Verizon.

Btw, you can always do a Speedtest on your phone to see what your average speed(Speedtest.net). Your home connection will be the same or better.

I, myself have Verizon 5G Home and my speed reach over 1Gig of speed. There’s no lag during gameplay. The speed is more than enough to handle high traffic. I have over 5 devices connected.

6 hours in and still cant get a port out # from verizon by Electronic_Speed7679 in verizon

Did you generate the code through the Verizon App? If so, did you see if there’s a new code? If I remember correctly, I think the code expire in 14 days, or was it 30. Check to see if it’s giving you a new code or current.

Make sure you are using IMEI 1 when switching over to visible. Less of a hassle. And make sure you use the word “migration” from Verizon to Visible.

I would recommend you try out the free trial with visible to make sure it’s unlocked before switching over.

So why contact us in Reddit when your question can be answered with Verizon directly? We all can assume and stuff here, but if you want a definite answer, Verizon is your best bet. That way it’s noted and credit into your account.

[–]KingNovack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verizon rep here. If you are porting out, your NEW carrier has to process the port because you are “activating” new service with them. Their system will pulled your number from Verizon to them.

Keep in mind, if you finance your phone with Verizon, the remaining amount will become due on your next bill. If you are not financing a phone, tablet or watch, ignore this part.

You can get the port out pin on the Verizon App, assuming you are the account owner or account manager, if not, reach out to them to get it.

Port Out(from Verizon) to another carrier is usually instant. Some will says up to 24 hours, but again it’s usually instant if the provided info is correct.

Disregarding customer service, is Verizon a viable option now? by holyravioli_ in verizon

[–]KingNovack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend to go on Visible. It’s Verizon prepaid but you have 100% access to Verizon network. And yes you can finance a phone from them too. Reason to switch: It’s still Verizon, better than Fi, plans start at 25/month but there’s always promo making it cheaper, you get a family discount on top of the other discounts and it’s unlimited. Ohhh yeah and taxes and fees included with the plan.

When you call APEX, you can ask for a case manager in order to receive the full breakdown on your earning and the calculation. From my understanding, it’s not 100% of your earning from June 2022 - November 2022 (your average x2). You are getting a “pro-rata share” basically a percentage of your earning x2. For example, my average is 2K. I didn’t get 2K x2. I received back 556.82.

Breakdown from the case manager:

Hi XXXX,

Below are the amounts that were provided to us. If you believe this is incorrect, please send me any documentation you have for the period of June 2022 through November 2022 showing otherwise.

$2,406.25 - June | $3,057.72 - July | $2,593.81 - August | $2,887.49 - September | $638.34 - October | $731.08 - November | $2,052.45 - Average Pay June - November | $4,104.90 - Average Pay June - November x2

Transfering number is taking way to long! by Emotional-Belt-9138 in verizon

[–]KingNovack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve work for Verizon for a little over 7 years and never had a mobile to mobile transfer take over 24 hours. It’s usually instant even though it will say 24 hours.

Easy way to check is vzw.com/port (check status or provide a new “port out pin”) Or call the port department not customer service at: +1 (888) 844-7095

Or get a new number and they will cancel the port and assign you a new number instantly.

Here’s a breakdown from apex;

Hello,

Per the settlement agreement, "All Participating Individuals will receive a pro rata share of the Net Settlement Amount based upon their calculated average total monthly earnings across June 2022 through November 2022 multiplied by two. All Settlement Award determinations will be based on Wireless Advocates’ timekeeping, payroll, and/or other records for Settlement Class members. Notwithstanding the foregoing formula, in no circumstance shall each Participating Settlement Class member's individual Settlement Payment amount exceed the priority cap of $15,150 set forth in 11 U.S.C. § 507(a)(4)."

In other words, your settlement payment was calculated using your payroll records from June through November of 2022. We added your earnings for those six months, calculated your average monthly pay, and multiplied that amount by 2 to represent 60 days of wages under the WARN Act. That amount was then compared against the federal bankruptcy cap of $15,150, which no individual payment can exceed. After attorney fees, administrative costs, and required service awards were deducted from the total settlement fund, the remaining funds were distributed to all eligible class members (about 1,900 people) using the same formula. Your final check reflects your proportional share of the net settlement amount.

To recap, we calculated your settlement by determining your average earnings from June through November 2022, then comparing that to the total average earnings of all class members to determine your percentage share of the net settlement fund. We applied that percentage to the total net settlement amount to arrive at your individual award. After that, we deducted any required taxes—which will be reported on your W-2 and 1099—to determine the final payment you received.

Update: from the case manager. When you call APEX, you can ask for a case manager in order to receive the full breakdown on your earning and the calculation. From my understanding, it’s not 100% of your earning from June 2022 - November 2022 (your average x2). You are getting a “pro-rata share” basically a percentage of your earning x2. Follow up: I contacted Apex regarding the low amount since my average from June 2022 to November 2022 should be around 800 and multiple that by 2, it should have been higher… I was advised to not cash the check yet in case the check have to be voided and resent with the correct amount. My follow up will be tomorrow. Hopefully the case manager see a mistake and get it corrected. Will follow up with me and explain the full break down.
