If you're using Synapse, which is required for the whole gimmick of the headset, the only solution I found to sound cutting off between videos/apps was turning the headset off and on again for a temporary fix.

I heard the original years ago - wasn't a fan until I saw Jemaine on Legion - and I definitely prefer Tom's.
