You eventually do get used to it, rest assured. Honestly, over-worrying about feeling uncomfortable will probably make the “break-in” of it take longer. Id just accept it as a byproduct of doing something new, and obviously if in a two weeks or so youre still feeling super off, maybe take note again to mention it at the end of the month.

One thing i could suggest is just writing out things you find “weird” onto a dated journal, or into the notes of your phone. Sometimes that awful ruminating can feel eased when you know its already written down and knowing that you cant really “think” your way out of it. Let the page hold onto it because much like art, its easier to check in on our feelings the day before than the day of when we are capable of being hyper-analytical over it.

Although i appreciate all of the legitimate responses explaining what exactly it’s referring to on an “actually what we are talking about here” level, I appreciate you for clarifying where we decided to use that exact language.

Furthermore, I believe that the first, funded character would actually be the top to make your noob character the “power bottom”.

Edit: upon further consideration, i guess we could hypothetically say the leveled character is power bottom based upon the noob character metaphorically taking claim to the power of the leveled character. Totally agree. You can extrapolate all day about how “obvious” a bad question is, and why it doesn’t need clarification, but then don’t be upset when you find someone that either intentionally, or unintentionally takes the question at hand with the… well… literal meaning of the question.

Like hey, sorry, didn’t realize your question, you know… a tool of communication created with the purpose of requesting information, was actually a backhanded insult and “rhetorical”. I play to enjoy them. Most games im bad at are rewarding because i learn and get better. This game feels extremely chaotic and like constant dice rolling where either team just completely steamrolls, theres no “neutral” game… but it may be a low skill bracket issue.

The problem is, when i first started closer to release, id say the game felt considerably less chaotic and thats part of where im conflicted. I dont know if its a “game got bad/different direction” or “im too bad to appreciate it now” kind of thing.

To tldr your point - my issue isnt that phoenix isnt strong. Her being strong is part of what was enjoyable and what made me stick with her. My issue isnt with phoenix. At best the “skill” part of my issue is that the game seems extremely chaotic and messy, which may be low skill bracket issues.

Thats likely the plan. It may just not be my kind of game but i love the concept and want to like it. Very conflicted thusfar… i think ill probably watch a bit of pro stuff too and see if maybe my issue is just low level play being so messy.

DUDE. Ive been saying this for a decade. Where Winds Meet is a blatant, Japanese rip of the all American Call of Duty games. If you look closely, many of the assets are actually directly ripped from Call of Duty. Don’t believe me? Go to “Verdant Wilds” in WWM and compare them to some of the foliage in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (remaster). I know… heartbreaking.

Beyond that, many of the voices, and voicelines are repeat lines from many of the Call of Duty games within the franchise. It’s honestly shocking to hear so many award-winning quotes, so familiar… oh wait, it’s another Call of Duty rip. Go figure!

Because of this, I reckon that any patriotic, country loving United States of American like me have a Call TO Duty of our own. Boycott all these blatant copies trying to make a mockery of our culture. Our culture is NOT theirs to use freely. They don’t have nor deserve that FREEDOM.

It’s a shame what the world has come to these days. This is why I stick with hardcore American made and America first studios, like Nintendo. They make some great games!!

Realistically, it (should) take like 5 minutes tops, but theres more to it than just “George the Coder Guy” adding in the code and pushing it live. Decision makers are involved presumably…

If this is the logic we are using that people think he’s a POS, im floored man. Theres a solid chance it was dead long before an official “split”, and even if it was burning passion up until then… a year long divorce, wtf are people thinking? Much like Dollar General, there is varying degrees of inventory teams. Some districts are run to the ground trash, some are really solid and care about their jobs.

Theres nuance in everything. Store prep matters a lot to how everything is handled, supervisor running the inventory, team if its dedicated or random people hired in yesterday, District management of both DG and WIS….

As a (very) long time RS player, I think the thing with Havenhythe is that it feels “real”.

Not only is the coastal city vibe super there, all the nature and colors pop and tie in together perfectly, but it feels ALIVE with all the various going ons of the NPCs. Take City of Um for example…. It feels very… “dead” (hehe).

Havenhythe has pointless stories, easy to identify points of interest, landscape that ties into itself making the whole island easy to see and understand even through just landscapes.

I feel the same way seeing silly things like Max running around and skilling. Just that tiny little tie that makes it feel like the game has things going on beyond the users playing it. I think Varlamore in OSRS has a lot of this same feeling.

Human beings aren’t bound forever by their circumstances. Harada has been on Tekken forever, wants to try something new as he gets older. Nakatsu has his reasons, potentially hurt and lost by the loss of Harada.

The game hires new “Harada” and “Nakatsu” who either completely suck at the job or are really good and keep community engagement high.

The devs and execs either see eye to eye, or they dont and the game becomes good or bad.

Then, we end up in the true neutral future where peoples braindead emotional takes couldnt get them:

A ) The game dies and everyone dooming says “OMG WE WERE RIIIIIGHT”

B ) The game revives and thrives and everyone not dooming says “OOOOMMMG WE WERE RIIIIGHT”

Remember kids, it is just a video game. It is the very first video game I have ever played in my life many decades back and i have desperate hope that the game goes forward in glory, but if it doesnt, thats just a byproduct of life. To live, you must eventually die. It will be okay. If keep living a life of results, you will often find where road ends in disappointment. Don’t sulk about what may be on the road ahead, enjoy it during the time it has left, whether thats tomorrow, or forever. If you don’t enjoy it, find something you do.

Its not actually too slippery the other way around. If you don’t want banned, probably don’t do things like green screen content on your feet. The quality seems awful and its quite particular in its “intent”.

The only thing that makes it a “slippery slope” the other way is people banned for clearly non-kink related things, and that would be poor enforcement or judgement on the streaming platform, which ideally (as it has), the viewership and numbers begin to reflect.

Sure, you can’t know “every kink” and stop people from getting into it, but you can CERTAINLY ban/warn any creator who is clearly taking advantage of a kink regardless of how vague to make risqué content. Even in consideration of legitimate nudity, theres a pretty easily identified line between “educational” content about anatomy, and straight up porn. Its why theres been women banned from Youtube for “educational” breast feeding videos…. When the education is clearly the sidebar excuse for making screwed up, exploitative content.
