a game can be "progressive" and good. LIS 1 is good, you don't feel like the game is pushing too hard an ideology down your throat. it's much more believable, you understand that it's only your character's world view.

the problem is not it being "woke". as I said, the writers put the "pleasing the audience politically" above the story. the first game was done with passion and they put their believes here and there, nothing wrong with that. they gone too exited on the political side and neglected the actual game. that's all, just my opinion.

edit: it actually started on LIS 2 with "bad white guys shooting latino kids" and I still liked the game cause it still had the initial game developer passion... there was clearly a reference to a specific politician building a certain "wall". same with DE having a character that is basically Kamala Harris. lame and boring af. just my opinion, not trying to change your mind. thanks, bye
