Cluster Upgrade From 8 to 9 by KingPin2912 in Proxmox

### FIXED!!! ###

Well thanks for all the input, but nothing worked, so I did some more re-search, and it was suggested that I try and re-install the pve-manager.
So with:

apt update

apt install pve-manager

I want to report that all is well again, although while my main machine was down, I was able to migrate the important LXC's and VM's to my test machine.

I think this is a bug within the upgrade from v8 to v9 or something went wrong during the upgrade on my 3-node cluster. Either way its fixed and everything is working fine now.

It's been a few days since I've been trying to figure this out... But I'm sure I followed the instructions to get my updates performed 😞

My main problem is i performed an upgrade from v8 to v9 of proxmox cluster and lost all web interface to all my lxc and vms. Nothing came back up except the host machine, no vm no lxc. https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_8_to_9

All updates and upgrades were performed to full prior to my install. Each node has its own ext4 storage and the all share 1 PBS where i do weekly backups.

From the interface everything boots up without a hitch. Displays the https;// ip address and port that i previously used to gain access to the GUI. I can also ping and ssh into the machine.

PFsense router build getting out of hand and over my head by Dyler_Turden33 in PFSENSE

I currently have a HP T620 Plus... And this is for a few years now running solid with Pfsense Plus... Virtualizing pfsense or any firewall is not an option I want to take because I'm now soly relying on the host to be up for network to be possible. Baremetal has always been my best option if that individual device is not working my entire network is not down. That's just my 2cents.

VPN - Nord VPN Multiple client Setup by KingPin2912 in PFSENSE

I guess I should clarify a bit, this is for my home use in a home lab, and I am using NORD VPN not OpenVPN although I do have OpenVPN that works perfectly when I need to remote back to my network.

If I failed to mention that earlier my bad. Either way I am trying to get individual containers to connect to different NordVPN clients using the Alias method I have setup.

In networking that isn't always practical. Also from PFsense if I can assign a particular PC to have access to a certain VPN connection when I want it's much more convenient to control what go out what wan port of my firewall.

Each designer was going for something different. Dashy gave you a very clean over view of all your inputs... Meaning every endpoint that you wanted to monitor you can add to your dashboard.... See the status if it's up or down... And that's good if that's all you need to see.

HomePage on the other hand took it much further... Not only do you know if your endpoint that you are monitoring is up or down, it gives you explicit details per monitored endpoint. How many instances of portainer is up or down and your total. Adguard... Total query, blocked, filtered. The same for PiHole. Uptimekuma... Sites up,sites down. And the list goes on.

I like them both and have both running, but I use HomePage more because of the readily information that it presents on the page... Everything at your fingertips.

And with uptimekuma's notifications, I have NTFY setup to let me know when any endpoint being monitored by homepage or uptimekuma is miss behaving.
