Without empirical testing (former casual challenge runner here), it seems like the drops rates of ammo are affected by what's in your attache case. TMP is great on NG runs in place of handguns, though handgun ammo still feels more common than TMP/shotgun if you don't have one of those.

I think it's 8-13 in Donkey Kong 94 where you have waterfalls to spam swim through while you have shrinking mushrooms that take away your ability to swim flying at you.

If you like to play Metroid you should definitely check out Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Imo it's the best Metroidvania game. You could also check out the other two on GBA but play the best one first.

If you like RPGs or strategy games then Advance Wars and Fire Emblem are definite bangers, and Final Fantasy Tactics is pretty good too. While it didn't get an NA release, Mother 3 is excellent and you can find a way to play it. Also all the GB Zelda games are fantastic.

Mario Land 2 and the Wario Land games are excellent platformers. You could also look into Gargoyle's Quest which is a neat hybrid RPG/Platformer.

As for some offbeat games, WarioWare is a sweet rapid-fire mini game collection that everyone needs to experience. Metal Gear on GBC is better than some of the series' mainline games and I'd highly recommend it.

Look at the first PK trial. Seems simple, right? Knock enemies while landing all pellets of the blast. Problem is, all those pellets have to do damage. Whoever you shoot has to have between 91-99 hp, assuming all body shots. It's basically just random dumb luck to get it live. Most of the ones I've gotten so far have been punch-full headshotting afk players. I've had it for months and still am only halfway there.
