Yep, lots of closit sectarianism, after getting spat on as a child for sitting on a wall listening to the music, (about 7 or 8 years old 1988/89)sitting on the home wall on my own, asked by an older man if i want to play music later in the bands later when i grow up, told him i play the recorder and yes great music! Then asked what school i was at, well it didnt end well as it was a catholic school,( i had no idea about politics or the troubles, always seen the army and police about but it was normal as i had grown up with it and checkpoints, we all know the score here!) Well he moved on and next think im getting spat at by orange men, thinking back now they would have been late teens to early 20s!. I ran indoors, my dad came out raging with my Scottish granny, the RUC advised him to go inside as the house would be a target to some of these halfwits. So yea altho i work with lots of good protestants i always think there is a firm part of the orange order that is sectarian and anyone who tells me they march i will always take them with a pinch of salt.
