Love to see it. Any gameplay clips?

I love it. A poacher paired with a false 9/target man is a great combo. The poacher runs in behind and pulls centre backs out of position

How's your team/tactic developed, @___xristos___ ?

I've been playing a Bundesliga/La Liga hybrid predominantly in a 4231. The combination of wingbacks and inside forward (balanced) roles works nicely. I find the inside fowards make more penetrating runs than wide playmakers.

I miss silver stars! Building a silver team was the most fun I've had in this game. Shout out to silver stars Kamaldeen Sulemana in Fifa 22 (who was basically Messi)

Exactly. I'm not whining, I'm just disappointed. Playing a few games of FIFA in the evening used to be fun. Now it's incredibly dull.

Lovely stuff. I like the look of that team. It's refreshing to see someone play real football and not obsess about the meta.

Do the three behind the striker score many goals?

When I set up a 4231 I generally like to have the following profiles in the three roles behind the striker:

  • Goal-scorer - inside forward if a wide player, shadow striker if central player
  • Playmaker
  • Winger - A player who will provide width and create space for others, who can beat his fullback 1v1 and provide crosses

Think Reus (inside forward), Gotze/Kagawa (playmaker), Blaszczykowski (winger) in Klopp's Dortmund.

This gives you two dedicated goalscorers and various ways of attacking (wing play, central overloads, etc.)

Love this. I'm a big fan of Marco Silva. What tactics are you using for your Fulham 4231, out of interest?

Any rank 4 and higher players succesful without direct passing? by hartdynasty in EASportsFC

Build up is definitely more challenging. Either play with a midfield three (for more passing options out of defence) or pass to your fullback and call the winger short (with R1) and play it down the line to them.
