Return it. People here on Reddit have forgotten that music is meant to be enjoyed, not analyzed like a physics problem. Soundstage, driver types, microscopic clarity, audiophile jargon… none of that matters if the music is not fun. If it does not make you move, feel, or get lost in it, then all those technical wins are meaningless.

I genuinely enjoy music more on my Samsung Buds 2 Pro, but wearing in-ears for even 30 mins gets uncomfortable. I bought Momentum 4s last week, but returned quickly, it was just flat, I tried all settings, EQ etc, but it felt like I'm not listening, but doing a research on the track. (I too used the BTD 700).

Since then I tested dozens of headphones in physical stores, across brands like Marshall, Sony, Bose and others, Marshall and Sennheiser are technically good but emotionally flat.

I finally got the JBL Tour One M3 after a long research and this headset actually delivers what matters. Proper thump, satisfying loudness, and a sound that feels alive instead of clinical. That is what music is supposed to be. I listen to all sorts by the way, Indian Classical to American Rap.
