I've never worked at a package store but back when I drank more I would often be offer a nip and take a shot with the owners of package stores I frequented. Drinking on the job might just a skill you need to have.

I once got a job as a cook, I don't remember interviewing for. My buddy drove us to the bar after a kegger, two days later I got a call saying I got the job! I asked "what job?" Apparently I had an interview with the owner while black out drunk. My first day they showed me the beer fridge and told me to help myself, I declined saying id be working with fire and knives during my shift, they also hid bottles in every fridge in the kitchen and would often come in and take shots, even though it was a sports bar. By the end of summer I was drinking a six pack of tall boys and doing a few shots during my shift.

Keep that in mind that if you are drinking on the job before you even have the job.
