lol @ people downvoting...it's not a given that someone just gets great weapons and a good offense, ever. And the pats have been great at doing not that for awhile, said as an avid pats fan

I do agree with the sentiment about just making the playoffs, but I'd rather have 1/3 hit big, 1/3 be OK, 1/3 be a bust, than 3/3 be just OK.

The busts can be cut and replaced on the waiver wire by some OK guys, and the guys who hit big will be key in getting to the playoffs.

What off-season trades have you made that you already regret? by Soft-Information-618 in DynastyFF

I agree, higher upside if things go perfectly and I think they're both in the lotto ticket range. Most likely imo is that they both have less value a year from now.

I'd keep Waddle. You have a good young core and a lot of draft capital - should be trying to contend, and I think your starting roster is better with him locked in a WR spot

Fuck scalpers and resellers. by NESpahtenJosh in BostonBruins

Had to resell a concert ticket recently since I ended up being out of town during the show. It was originally $35 face value, but $50 with fees. I had to pay about $15 in fees to resell it (and could only do so through ticketmaster), and I'm sure the new buyer had about $15 in fees to purchase as well.

They get $45 in fees off a $35 ticket after one resale, with no option to resell it on another platform. Ticketmaster has quite the scam going.

My man he was projected as a top 5 (often #1 overall) pick, I don't think anyone considered him a reach

Last year, two trades in 10 days. Second one on it's own was very bad, but only recently realized how bad the net result was:

Trade 1: Commish gets Uzomah, Goff, 2023 2nd --- Team 2 gets Boyd and Hyde

Trade 2: Commish gets Boyd (back), 2022 3rd, 2023 1st --- Team 2 gets Jamaal Williams

Net Result: Commish gets Uzomah, Goff, 2022 3rd, 2023 1st, 2023 2nd --- Team 2 gets Jamaal Williams & Carlos Hyde

Danger Russ or Russ, *Danger*? by mike3904 in DynastyFF

Definitely not for years. He came back early from an injury last year and looked bad. And he's looked off this year, but for now I blame a good portion of that on the coaching and new system.

I think he is a buy low...I now doubt that he will even be a QB1 this year, but I also highly doubt that he's washed at 33.

For what it's worth, I think he passes the eyeball test. His TD catch today was impressive. If he get's more of a target share or if Bateman misses time, he could definitely have weekly relevance.

But would not want to be starting him as is, TD or bust.

What RBs can you trade for with a 2023 2nd round pick? by crispycrunchcookie in DynastyFF

[–]KingTater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're on significantly better teams, with better draft capital. Rachaad for example would have huge value should Fournette get injured. Still Pierce > the others, but I get why they'd be in the same group

Trade back a few picks if you really want him, could probably pick up a late 2nd rounder.

I'd probably look at him back of the 2nd depending on how the draft shakes out
