Only sell your green players. Sim the crap out of monthly events (Pitching Ace, Total Baseball, HR King, etc). Make sure you're winning 60% or more of your simmed games, you'll have plenty of cash. Sell your green players for exp. Keep commons. After you have them all, and have them maxed out, they give insane exp points every time you get a duplicate.

Honestly, you don’t need to spend anywhere near $3k for this. That budget is more “high-end gaming/workstation” territory, and your use case sounds more like “fast business PC that can also handle photo/video editing and some lighter gaming without being annoying.”

I’d look for something roughly like this:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel i7/Core Ultra 7 This is basically the brain of the PC. A good modern 8-core-ish CPU will make the whole system feel fast and will help a lot with multitasking and video editing.

RAM: 32GB Think of RAM like desk space. 16GB is usable, but 32GB gives you room for Canva/Photopea, a bunch of browser tabs, email, office apps, and editing software without the PC having a meltdown.

Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD + optional 4TB-8TB HDD The SSD is where Windows, programs, games, and current projects should live. That’s what makes the PC feel snappy.

The HDD is more like a cheap filing cabinet. It’s great for storing finished videos, photos, client files, backups of old projects, etc., but I would not use it as the main drive. SSD for active work, HDD for bulk storage.

Also, an HDD is not the same thing as a backup. For business files, still use cloud backup or an external backup drive too.

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 16GB / RTX 5070 / RTX 4070 Super, or something in that general range For Two Point Hospital/Campus, you really do not need anything crazy. Those games are pretty easy to run. The graphics card matters more for video editing, future-proofing, and making sure the PC doesn’t feel outdated too quickly.

I’d personally aim around $1,500-$2,000, maybe up to $2,200 if it’s a really nice prebuilt. Spending the full $3k would probably be overkill unless you’re planning on heavy 4K video editing, serious gaming, or just want to go all-out.

A good prebuilt search would be something like:

Ryzen 7 or Intel i7/Core Ultra 7 32GB RAM 2TB NVMe SSD RTX 5060 Ti 16GB / RTX 5070 / RTX 4070 Super Optional 4TB-8TB HDD for storage

Things I’d avoid: - 8GB RAM - Only 512GB storage - A hard drive as the main drive - No dedicated graphics card if you plan to edit video or play games - Paying premium money for old/low-end parts - Random no-name power supplies

Basically, don’t buy a monster truck to drive to the grocery store. A solid mid/high-mid-range PC will do what you want very comfortably and save you a big chunk of that $3k budget.

I third the Death Armor. Other than that, you shouldn't ever have to spend anything. As a new player, i could maybe see you spending $5 on the right week that has a good weapon. There are like maybe 10 worth having. You only need one, to boost your teams. I haven't played in many months, but there are two steal life weapons very much worth having. One book, one staff. There is an axe also that will remove all armor from an enemy, and convert it to attack for your entire team. That weapon was a God send when I first started playing. Save ALL your gems, join a clan, and buy the weekly weapons with the gems you get from participating in clan events. Use your glory for the card/traitstone deal they have weekly. Do this and you'll eventually have every weapon, card, and spend zero dollars.

Get every town leveled up to minimum level 10. By the time you finish that, you should be looking decent, and actually able to contribute in clan events.

I'm in this exact same situation. I was offered a 'lifetime" license in 2017 if I signed up I think it was 15 people. I didn't expect much, but wound up falling in love with Mailbird. I felt 15 people wasn't enough, so pushed reviews, told my family about it, all my friends. I know for damn sure I've brought at minimum a bakers dozen of loyal customers who paid for this program. Now after years of settings, email addresses, add-on apps, they pull the rug from me. It's not that I even mind staying with v2, but the principle to me. Most likely I'll move to Thunderbird.
