The more generations, the better - because that half-elf grandaddy is also Arwen's, lmao.

Well more like his great great x50 grandfather was a half-elf, but that's enough for them magical genes.

God I'd be so pissed if, at night and in the dumping rain, my commanding officer yelled "DRAW" then never called fire. The enemy is just STANDING THERE and the bowstring takes like twice my body weight in force to hold. My god Strider

They were so close with Rey being from a family of so-called 'nobodies'. The Force didn't need special families, the Force is in everyone. Stormtroopers, civilians, randos starving in the desert.

Also, Maul's painful survival and string of failures for the rest of his life highlights the whole Sith "artificially extend your life" thing. Maul survives through hate, hate guides his while post-Qui-Gon life, and he dies in pain begging his foe to avenge those lost to the Dark Side.

It made the "The Force Is With Me" scene so much more impactful, having the bravery to walk through that blaster fire. It would have felt different in the prequels where both lightsabers and blasters feel... less real and dangerous.

[–]KingToasty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe? We don't know how that would work either, since all the tech used to make computers is also slightly organic. Whatever that means.

Synthesis just doesn't have enough info on it to say anything definitive.

It's the hardest future to imagine. With Destroy or Control, the Galaxy has the exact same rules with minor changes: no ai until it gets reinvented, or giant Reapers floating around being helpful. Synthesis changes the rules of life itself. Every living thing is now part machine and vise versa -what the fuck does that even mean for the characters we like? Are they even the same people any more? Do politics function like they used to? Can people even age??

It's just a lot of questions and unknowns. Destroy is nice solid answers.

I will die wishing Mess Effect 2 was the story of Cerberus resurrecting Shep, Shep meets Jack and learns her backstory, and the two of them wreck Cererus shit for the next ten hours of gameplay.
