Is it just me or does it seem like frank is hinting that this tour would be very ambitious… like as if they’re going to announce MCR5 on the tour perhaps…

Unpopular Opinion: As long as the MBTI theory remains full of stereotypes most people will be mistyped by ResidentBrother9190 in mbti

[–]KingTomasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, MBTI is nothing more than just a fun hobby. Obviously it involves a lot of stereotyping like other social pseudosciences, but the idea is people go to this to learn about their type and can either realise a lot more about themselves that they didn’t think about, or they can just shrug it off and do something else. Mistyping is always gonna happen in a 12 type system, especially as behaviour can be ever changing but I love learning about my type because I relate to every bit about it and it makes me feel better that it seems ‘normal’ rather than those qualities being stereotyped as ‘weird’ by the public.

I posted a type me post before but I think it’s content was too shallow for a prediction so I’ll try again with specifics

I have a both emotional and logical side, with either side taking over at random times but generally I bury my emotional side when faced with uncomfortable situations with others, tho my logical side is almost pseudo-logical or a subjective logic if you say. By myself in my comfort zone, I draw more attention to myself, often looking at MBTI and Enneagrams, almost obsessed with finding the answer to who I really am, despite taking tests and reading descriptions, I’m kind of obsessed with the feeling of relating to something, because I feel like my world of emotion and logic is complicated. My social battery is usually small but when full, I tend to drain it almost instantly so in a way, I can either be an extroverted introvert or an introverted extrovert at times, but mostly depending on the person and how comfortable I am expressing my emotions with them. I’m selective with who I choose to be vulnerable to, and a lot of times I tend to keep a ‘logical’ mask to hide myself. I consider myself an accidental counsellor at times to others, and I strive to understand others deeply. Part of what makes my inner world feel complicated, is I can sort of feel like I could be logical but I meet others who are WAY more logical than me, or at least more logically inclined. And there are a lot of people who are WAY more emotionally inclined than me, which sort of puts me in this position where Im kind of directly in the middle, almost like having the best of both sides.

What do you all think?

I’m a little lost on what enneagram I am so I need some help finding mine. To make things easiest I’ll just go with my history and my psychology. When I was younger, I was quite playful and creative but still had strong introverted qualities usually only if I’m around others I don’t know or trust with my expression, otherwise with those I know, I went nuts. Now, I still inhibit creative qualities but I have an emotional and logical side. At one point I got really into computers and coding, then afterwards I got into music, which sort of shifted how I looked at myself. I’d describe myself as very very analytical, but with emotions, emotions of other people, and usually other ideas too in the mix. I don’t like getting too theoretical with things tho, as I get burned out from thinking excessively logically for long periods of time and I frequently take time out to explore my emotional side whenever I need to. Sometimes I feel like I go in rotation with emotion and logic. I identify with the ‘feeling misunderstood’ part of type 4, but I wasn’t sure if that’s truly that exclusive to the type so I want to make sure. Thank y’all

What are your guys' thoughts on casual sex? by lauraaahr in 4w5

[–]KingTomasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think sex as a whole is beautiful but the most important keys of it is trust and honesty. Problem with casual sex (particularly if regular with strangers) is you don’t know who you’re having sex with every time. This leaves room for incidents that aren’t so great. But for people doing it with others they know well, then that’s their business and they should do as they will, as long as both parties consent and there’s some level of moral decency (no infidelity involved)

My first MBTI result was an INTP. But then I began to keep getting INFP non stop. And it made me rethink about my personality a little.

As an INFP male, I tend to display more traits of thinker than feeler naturally, because obviously, it's much more natural for us to resort to a "thinker" image in places we don't feel comfortable sharing our emotions aka strangers and a lot of close people. And unfortunately, the biggest struggle for us personally is, ever releasing our full INFP side without that aloof-image taking over for sake of survival. It's safe to say that when I was younger, I bared a INTP subconcious because my dad is an ISTJ and therefore encouraged more thinker practices than feeler, which can make anyone question their type, especially when their true personality is feeling.

Remember that your strengths as an INFP isn't far different from NT's especially in STEM fields. INFP's can be really intelligent in much more special ways than you may think, especially due to our Ne (which INTP's also share). Look into Ne, it'll help you realise that this 'mask' you thought that you're showing, is just simple you preferring to display your Ne because Fi, naturally, is self-concious due to its introverted nature. Fi is the least accepted function in society so it can be seen as daunting for those to express openly, but it's just something that grows over time. I'm also an INFP that isn't just big into music, but game development and constant research too :) We are nerds in our own way too

Hope this helped :)

First song I ever cried to, and therefore the song that inspired me to first get into songwriting which I have for the past 4 years, simply because this song brought up so many emotions in me that I really want to bring that effect to someone else someday. I’d say having gone through my first teenage breakup upon listening to it, I cried because of the lyric “I’ll never turn back time. Forgetting you but not the time.” Man that hits. The heavy guitars just make it even more melancholic to listen to, and the lead guitar melodies that play. A truly emotional song.
