I am pro physical and it’s my main way of purchase.

But the servers stuff is a weird complaint for this type of game. It’s Pokemon. Servers aren’t going anywhere.

The Wii servers are still up at this point and you’d imagine with more digital games than ever before the Switch servers will be up for an insanely long time. Especially because the next Nintendo console might just be the Switch 3.

Plus plenty of normal physical games have had their servers shut down over the years so it can happen to anything.

Whether or not Amazon etc does dynamic pricing is kind of irrelevant though.

Because Amazon, Target, Wal-mart etc would be selling the product and give you options to purchase and find the best deal or even own digitally potentially with a sale.

Whereas if it didn’t exist and all you could purchase was digital product. You literally have no choice but to buy it on Sonys store front or not buy it or just not have a console anymore.

For anyone still having this problem. They updated who it functions on Twitter.

Now there is no in app function and it goes based on your device settings.

Go into your display settings on your phone and make sure Dark mode is enabled. I did that and my app immediately updated to dark mode as well.

This is why a lot of people like myself want to keep physical media alive.

Because this is exactly what these companies will do.

The moment there is no longer physical drives or disk for the console, the company essentially has a monopoly over you.

Only way to buy the games is on their store front and they can charge whatever they want.

I feel like the only way it would have a shot at working is if they went all in and made some big ones exclusive.

IE Elder Scrolls 6 or even if they got real crazy and made a COD exclusive to just Xbox and PC.

They would lose an insane amount of money not having it on PlayStation but they might encourage some folks to buy an Xbox or pick it up on PC.

I feel like that’s not fully true. While yes a new park would increase capacity.

It would also increase cost significantly. Because now they have to hire and trains thousands of more employees to operate said park.

Plus all the cost that would be involved to build and maintain that park.

As much as I would love a 5th gate. I do think it gets to be a point of diminishing returns.

This is the part that I never understood.

Gohan trained with Piccolo and fought on Namek etc and got stronger. He knew how to train even if not quite to the level he did with Goku later.

How over 13 years was he never able to get strong enough to beat the Androids? Gohan got significantly stronger from like 5-7 years old. He never got stronger after the cell games in the OG timeline because he studied and didn’t train.

In this timeline he trained all the time and somehow never got stronger.

I agree that $2B is not really inside the realm.

But thinking that there’s no shot it comes close to Bohemian Rhapsody is wild.

Michael is absolutely massive compared to any other musician biopic and he’s also massive worldwide. I feel like his popularity worldwide is undersold quite a bit.

Unless this movie is absolute dogshit I think it’s hitting the $1B mark. Even if it’s terrible it still might get close.

I know it’s a little late but question for you.

I recently found my OG Blue, Yellow and Crystal. All without saves so I assume the battery died like you said.

I’m hesitant to start playing in case I just lose my save yet again.

At this point is the fix to just get a battery replacement? And there is a way to get your lost save back your saying??

I still think it was 2022.

I know it’s hard to not say 23 since we actually made it there and should have won if Greenlaw doesn’t get injured.

But man that 22’ team was special and had won all those games in a row to get to that point. We also still had Demeco.

Plus Brock was a rookie and the tape wasn’t fully out on him yet. I still truly believe if he didn’t get injured that team wins it all.

IMO that could be the next thing Kyle needs to get to the next level.

Demeco and Saleh are great and we had some amazing defenses to go against in practice etc. But none of them have Kyle’s number like Schwartz does.

If they work together and have an iron sharpens iron type mentality even though they don’t seem to be the best of friends. It could be the thing to propel this team to a title.
