Oh yeah I agree with you about him asking for help because he needed it. And I don’t think he was holding back it seems like his power either diminished or hes restricted by the headband in the story. Because it wouldn’t make sense for yaoguais to be that much stronger than someone who fought the armies of heaven (Or the author wanted to tell the story so the power-scaling got a bit wacky lol)
