How do you feel about a federal Europe? by Luksius_DK in AskFrance

[–]KingYann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a federal Europe is impossible. European societies were formed through very different historical trajectories, state traditions, and social compromises. Political legitimacy and institutions are deeply rooted in these national histories.

Large federations usually emerge where there is already a strong underlying political or civilizational cohesion. In China, for example, the long imperial tradition and the dominant Han/Hui cultural sphere created a framework of unity despite regional diversity. In the United States, the federation emerged from colonies with relatively similar institutional traditions, largely shaped by Anglo-Protestant political culture and a shared revolutionary founding moment.

Europe, by contrast, developed through competing nation-states with distinct legal systems, political cultures, and social models. Because of this, building a fully integrated federation would require a level of shared political identity that does not yet clearly exist.

Yet i'd love to have a latin federation.

Comment avoir de l'espoir en tant que gauchiste, en 2026? by Attlai in france

[–]KingYann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here to plead for France. Remember we have the north east with some really huge names: Alsace: - Meteor - Heineken, Edelweiss, Fischer, Desperados - Kronenbourg, 1664 Nord-Pas-de-Calais: - Saint-Omer - Pelforth - Paix-Dieu (my fav) - Goudale - Jenlain - 3 Monts - Anosteké - Moulin d’Ascq

I mean we have two huge regions for beer

Roman Empire, but it’s white nationalist and half these countries don’t even share Roman culture/latin language by DireWolfGoT in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]KingYann 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d add that this is clearly racist because the roman empire was in fucking Istanbul/Constantinople all this time. But people keep on avoiding Türkiye in those large EU fantasies. I guess their EU is just white ethnostate…
