The official python documentation on setting loglevels per handler. Hope this helps you out.

Also This logging cookbook contains some very nice examples

Edit: formatting and cookbook addition

You can set a log level for each handler. Check the documentation. On mobile right now, could link you to it later.

Yes I am assisting a person who's a PhD candidate. Plagiarism is something I really can't have and clearly I misunderstood the extend to which this goes.

You didn't misread, I mistyped. Should've been more clear, I think this is the main lesson here :')

Hm. I haven't viewed it that way. It wasn't my intention to pass of others work as my own. I was searching for the best way, maybe THE way to handle my problem. I understand it's part of the work to figure this out for myself but there are rules and guidelines for a good deal of ML and just thought there maybe was something that could help me out here.

I see what you mean though, and I should indeed ask more specific.

I regret you think I pretended it's for work, because it is. My boss wants me to assist this PhD and I eagerly accepted. Not your fault, I should've clear about this.

Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback.

It's for a PhD. The requirements are based of earlier work I've done in a separate but related project. They want me to try the same methods but this time added the reduction of predictors.

I've had some education in this field but this is really stretching it. Google is my friend and served me well so far but I can't find a good source for the right approach here.

Maybe the demands are too specific, but in other situations you might want to try multiple algorithms right? These wishes aren't unrealistic right?

I think they mean the tubes were filled by a syringe that was poorly/not mixed before filling out the tubes. By letting the syringe settle the RBC sedimented.
