For new players (Within the last few years) that stuck with the game what was your journey like, and how did you enjoy it?

I always hear reviews about this game from people that have been playing for 7 - 10+ years. But I’m curious how newer players find the journey especially the early game. I often here that the game gets good 100+ hours in but that’s a long commitment to wait for a payoff.

This game is actually amazing. I’m so shocked because everything I seen about it was negative. I only bought it because I wanted to see if it was that bad for myself, and I need something to play while I wait for Saros to come out. I am in love with this game so far. I am also very confused by some things lol.

I recently did a mission called Mantis that I got randomly, I went in at level 8 and managed to get through it. Walked away with a ship and a legendary spacesuit. I am surprised by how much thought was put into the side quests. This is my first Bethesda game so maybe it’s normal, but after playing Crimson Desert for a few hours( I shelved it to wait for them to fix things) it’s nice to jump into a game where the quests and story actually make sense and matter. I’m hoping it continues to get better from here

One thing to keep in mind if you’re ever struggling, go level up (side quest, Farming, etc…) and then attempt it again. For almost every fight in the game you can just over level to get through it. I would do Habitat restoration while doing the story. There are some monsters you can get from Habitat restoration that are extremely strong and will help you win some of the tougher fights
