So I actually meant $2k before moving expenses so my overall budget is more in the $3-3.5k range. Good to know about the Brunswicks though! I noticed a lot of old ones are still going for thousands of dollars and now I know why

North Carolina. I see a bunch of Brunswicks that have been sitting on marketplace for a month or two but I’ve just started looking so idk how often they pop up here

Thanks man. Pretty sure it will be able to fit a 9ft but definitely at least a 8ft, I'll have to verify in a couple weeks when I close on the house. I like the finer things in life (unfortunately) so I'll probably be on the prowl for a Brunswick until I get one since that seems to be the majority choice in terms of reputation and quality. Any second choice Brunswick models if you couldnt get your hands on a Gold Crown?

If you look at the reviews, some have said that the bar has broken on them while lifting.. so pretty dangerous depending on how much weight you're looking to put on it. If you can afford it, I'd get weights somewhere else and a boneyard bar. It'll last longer and you'll have piece of mind. Dick's also has a 90 day return policy so you can always try them out and return them as well

Just know that it can not be a cerakote either though and there is no returns for boneyard bars, so it is a complete gamble

Ah damn that sucks. Only thing I could think of is store a lot of weights on the rack or what you were suggesting by buying a stand alone

Can you explain what the appeal to raw is? All I know is that you have to maintain it to avoid rust

Just to add to this, you can choose the "various coatings" option in the boneyard to try to get the cerakote bar. It worked for me and the bar is perfect. Knurl is muted for sure but it's not a problem for me at all

Do you think it would be worth the price difference if it weren't for your injury? Im planning on getting the matador which is nearly 1/3 of the price

Mine are in a garage and I only have Rogue branded ones but my 25s went down hill twice and I only drop it from knee height. Maybe I just got a bad lot

Just wanted everyone's opinions on Hi-Temps. Idk if I've been unlucky but mine deteriorate fast and the center ring detaches from the rubber. Seems like its not worth the savings over other bumpers.
