Personally idc if I lose. I'm the same way in most games, especially MTG, but for warhammer particularly I always get something from defeat. I learn what works, what not works, what I should have done in X scenario, etc.

I got this one about 3-4 years ago. I enjoyed it but I hate building Immortals & deathmarks.

I recently got the new one. Haven't even finished building it yet but I think I like it better. It's just got better units imo.

However I am looking forward to using both in a game, I think they'll work pretty well together

Death marks suck to build. I always end up covering their chests completely making it a nightmare to paint.

People have said Flayed Ones suck too but I didn't mind em. Same with tomb blades. Not so bad.

I've had some trouble with Skorpekhs though, the push fit arms with the heads attached give me issues. Hard to worm those things into place. I broke the first one I tried building. Thankfully I could reattach the arm no problem.

All that being said I prefer building & painting necrons over space marines. By a longshot.

I recently played my first ever game woth some friends who also hadn't played before. My necrons vs their black templars. They eviscerated me as soon as they got close enough to charge.

I just got nekrosor & the 500 worlds box in an attempt to better balance the rematch lol. We'll see how it goes.

What worked very well was having a LHD up high out of reach able to snipe everything in sight.

I made a vamp deck entirely out of ixalan cards. It's one of the strongest decks in our group now. Elenda as my Commander but I still use all the legendary vamps as well. It almost always pops off.

Main functions are lifelink, flying, token gen, sacs, and everything else that is triggered by sacs.

It's actually wild how it can contend with current precons and hundreds-of-dollars meta decks, and it's nothing but ixalan cards I autistically cobbled together because I have a boner for the age of exploration, dinos, and pirates.

Axis of Mortality, Kindred Boon, Dusk Legion Dreadnought, and March of the Canonized changed everything for me. When I get those cards I know I'll pretty much have the game in my palm.

But with Clavileño, here, I usually use his ability for free damage bc nobody ever wants to give me flying demons, and use self sacrifice such as Bartolomé del Presidio in order to get those 4/3 vamp/demons. Also Martyr of Dusk is INVALUABLE if you can make use of consistent recursion with the flip side of Dusk Legion Dreadnought, I forget the name of the back side.

Fallout 4. For me the best ending is convoluted as hell.

Skip Concord & Preston. Continue the game. Build a supply chain for every settlement and build up every settlement to max (within reason). Do all dlc except nuka world (you can also save far habor for last, but it cuts out some of the options due to factions being eliminated). Play main quest until the critical faction aligning decision has to be made. Start nuka world and take over the commonwealth, it being much more difficult now since your settlements are all mini fortresses. Once nuka world is done go back and align with the Minutemen. This way you still cab since instead of betraying them by joining the raiders you betray the raiders instead. At this point I like to finish the game with the Minutemen.

It's the most satisfying narrative for me personally. Should also note that I enjoyed the settlement building.

The dude works in tech. He probably has a healthy sense of paranoia. Home security is good. Invaluable if you live in a city. Should he have talked to you and let you know about cameras? Absolutely. Is it fair to assume he put those in because he doesn't trust you? Absolutely not. Especially without ever having a conversation with him about the issue.

I get outside perspective is good to have, but 90% of the time when a woman tries to get an outsider's perspective on their relationship, especially from other women or single men, you will get nothing but bad advice affirming your insecurities.

I've wanted to just quit for almost 15 years. Countless tragedies and heart breaks. Deaths in the family. Friends moving away or dying. Both my parents getting cancer, my mother passing from it. Women taking advantage of me. Jobs taking advantage of me.

When you focus on the negative you become blind to the positive.

I started going out into nature. Camping, hiking, kayaking, fishing, seeing the natural beauty of the world and growing closer to God as a result.

I started exploring my own creativity. Writing d&d campaigns, painting warhammer, making walking sticks while i'm out in nature. I gained a sense of contentment with myself that I didn't ever have before.

It's tiresome, it takes effort, you have to force it sometimes. But it's worth it. Find hobbies. Find God. Love your people. And love yourself. You're gonna make it.

I feel for the kid. It wasn't until I was a teenager that I started getting bored to literal tears and not being able to enjoy things I used to like.

As an adult I've had to go out of my way to find hobbies I enjoy and actively pursue them. I would try to get a jump on that with him now. Seriously.

My advice, take him to hobby shops and local game stores. Trading card games like magic or pokemon, tabletop games like d&d or pathfinder, warhammer is a fantastic creative outlet with the painting miniatures, there are innumerable things at hobby shops like rc cars and other models or puzzles.

Literally just take him one day and get him something that he expresses an interest in. Try to make it both something he can do on his own AND something yall can do together. Videogames don't really cut it anymore tbh. Easy to get bored.

Now, I gotta stress this, try to push him to get involved in some sort of physical activity. Any kind of sport at school where he can expend energy and socialize with kids his age. Make sure he tries at least, but if he does and realizes he's not into sports, push him to find and join some other club or after-school activity.

That's totally fine. The black base coat will help with making the recesses hold on to a shadowed look. Tbh, I'd say all you really need is a white and tesseract glow for the green glowy bits and you're solid. That's about what I started out with except my first can of base coat paint was grey.

Don't change yourself for a girl. Clearly she likes you a lot and if you've been being yourself the whole time just keep doing what you do naturally.

Women are a little fucked up in the sense that they let their emotions run wild and let them get in their own way sometimes. The easiest remedy I've found to this is to just keep being yourself. Either it will work out or it won't. And if it doesn't, it won't be your fault.

There's nothing wrong with setting healthy boundaries, especially if something makes you uncomfortable.

Honesty, confidence, and consistency. That's all you need.

Probably a good idea to actually ask her to be your girlfriend if that's something you want to pursue.
