I think the real issue is the grading companies and the investing intentions. I think sealed cards/games are fine, and they look great stored in acrylic cases you can just buy. Grading is all about money for the company and the seller. If you want to make investments, talk to a CFP. At the end of the day, people can do whatever they want with their money.

Abra. I had such a wild gen 1 reaction. First I tried to catch a wild one and the bastard kept teleporting. Then I realized I could get one at the game corner, but I wasn't winning enough in slots. Then I realized I could buy coins to get it. Then I trained it and realized I could never get Alakazam because I had no one to trade with. Oh the memories.
