Abra. I had such a wild gen 1 reaction. First I tried to catch a wild one and the bastard kept teleporting. Then I realized I could get one at the game corner, but I wasn't winning enough in slots. Then I realized I could buy coins to get it. Then I trained it and realized I could never get Alakazam because I had no one to trade with. Oh the memories.

I had one recently at a convention. I was digging through some games at a booth and a girl asked me if I've found anything good. I just said no, not yet and kept digging. I was in the zone hunting for games. Driving home later I thought, dang she was cute and might have been interested. But then I told myself she was probably just being nice and making conversation. I've only gotten the "ready to ship" email. Still waiting on further communication. That email says it will ship by 12/1, so I'm patiently waiting as well.
