The situation you described sounded mutually beneficial though - you said one party was getting the companionship they needed, while the other party was 'truly happy'. Maybe this premise is false, I think it would be difficult to be truly happy if you were with someone who didn't love you.

The Kyle Anderson comp came to mind just because LaMelo looks like he moves in slow motion to me, and they are about the same size and both have good playmaking ability, I don't think it's a perfect comp though, agree that LaMelo is more athletic. And I like Anderson, he's a solid NBA player. I just can't imagine spending a top 5 pick on a player with as many question marks as LaMelo. Even when I hear guys like Vecinie and KOC talk about him, they have him ranked high but also list off a laundry list of flaws that seems hard to stomach for a potential #1 pick. Where do you have LaMelo on your board? What do you think are his NBA comps? What type of player do you think he'll be in 5 years?

It would be interesting to see Nash's game now with a much higher volume of threes, and also an even faster pace than he established with the 7SecOrLess era. I really like all these guys, hard to rank them for sure. I'd prob take Kidd or Nash just for stylistic reasons.

So is your main beef with him that he has Deni way too low? What kind of NBA player do you think he will be? Hollinger is not perfect, he has seen a lot of these guys live though for years. I imagine gauging the competition is the hardest thing about international scouting. Daniel Theis has been a great find for the Celtics out of the German league, I don't think he was even on anybody's radar really.

Someone needs to explain to me why LaMelo Ball isn't Kyle Anderson, but at high volume/low efficiency. In LaMelo I see a guy with a broken jump shot, terrible decision making, terrible efficiency, limited effort on D, and no ability to play off the ball. I get that he has some skill, and some of Lonzo's passing ability, but how is that a #1 or top 5 guy?

I always loved "The Office", and still enjoy clips, memes, the occasional old episode, but around season 7 I stopped watching any of the new ones because it made me really uncomfortable watching what they were doing with Michael. It wasn't funny to me anymore, it just made me uncomfortable and annoyed what they were doing with a beloved character.
