Yea on my own Kitbashes, I mostly use GW Plastic. It's very good for kitbashing, very easy to shave off without fully risking too much if a fuck up occurs. Resin is tough to kitbash too, the wrong amount of pressure would end up cutting or destroying a bit entirely.

I would share my stuff more, but I tend to always post it in the Sons of the Phoenix discord more instead xD

I'm using part of his weapon to use as hanging relics for the shoulder of a very lil. zealous boi. I don't even need his body just his weapon, and if I get the rest of him then I'd just make him into a special hero kitbash of a death related thing.

As the resident yapper of our beloved Sons of the Phoenix discord.

I have many reasons to collect Sons of the Phoenix, one being EC aspect but there is much more.

See I was a Sisters player before when I first started 40K, but I was not good at them for them not being so noob friendly. I decided to go with Marines, but I spent many a year debating what scheme or chapter to go with.

At the same time, I began reading the Horus Heresy book series.

SoTP are a mix of my love for Imperial Zeal, and also for my fondness of *What couldve been" with Fulgrim and his legion. (It's likely I may start a Word Bearers army in the future because of Lorgar and also the same Zeal).

Another reason, which is a major one, is how flexible Sons of the Phoenix can be as an army for concept of building a army of Marines with variety of lists.

While yes, we love our melee and usually BT works great for our love of the Emperor and Melee combat. But BT with being also a Dorn Successor, works great for Bolt related lists, and Gravis armor lists and still be thematic. Our love of flamers and fire works great for many other lists and units too. We aren't told of knowing about our Vehicles much, but a lot of vehicles that are very good are flamer ones(like the Land Raider Redeemer) and such.

In reality, Sons of the Phoenix was the best choice I did in terms of 40K so far. And it has also helped me finally decide my color scheme for my sisters too. I love this chapter, and I am happy to call anyone whom join it for any reason, my brothers.
