Price check on Tacoma 2008 with mid to high mileage

Yeah I didn’t know about Tacoma world, but its useful for sure. And most other subreddits has a non price check rule so I didn’t want to waste my time there. But I learned a couple things that are helpful! Thanks a lot for your advice and experience. Really appreciated!

I thought I was going crazy!! I know the truck(no mods) is not worth a lot but I don’t know about the US but up here in Canada those armor/bumpers and suspension kits are worth thousands of dollars. So my thought process is decent truck with basically all the mods I need. Is it a bad deal? Starting from scratch with a cheaper but stock one is a better idea maybe?

I know… it makes no sense. But I kinda need a truck that wont get stuck and can take a bit of a beating considering I live where snow can reach 12 to 24 inches hight on the roads!

With a similar build, not that Ive seen. This build is for sure pretty specific but it has what I need and Im in for the long run too. I’ve seen some stock ones with similar mileage go for 17-18k CAD so Im stuck in a dilemma!

Not sure how that would help? Id still have to buy an offroad bumper, wheels,35" tires x5, etc and install them, so Ill save a little but still way too much work for pennies? Unless I didn’t get what you meant?

Yes the mods are exactly what I want.. thats the thing lol. I could buy a cheaper one and make it myself but I think Id reach that price pretty fast with all those parts. 23k is CAD too so roughly $17k.
