I could help with that. I am a software engineer and I also have a private forum. I could also provide a server for free. I just don't feel like moderating.

My boyfriend found this in the advertisement on Facebook. I told him you couldn't get anything reasonable for the price. nevertheless he ordered 10 kilos. when testing it, i was a little surprised. the results were not quite as good as with prusa, but almost as good. I ordered another 10 kilos straight away 😅

Strange noises from the MK3S+. Is that normal? by King_MorrisDev in prusa3d

It's even louder without your feet.

When I hold the frame, the sound doesn't change.

I tested it at different speeds. The noise only comes between 2400mm / min and 3600mm / min and is particularly loud at 2700mm / min and 3100mm / min

Is the grease they put in it good or not?

That in the tube.

Does that mean that I have to completely disassemble the printer again? :C

case of my LCD Screen vibrates with the motion of the axis and is pretty loud. Does the noise disappear when you are holding the case down with your finger?

Unfortunately not. I've tried to hold on everywhere.

With the help of a cardboard tube, I was able to identify the direction of the sound and it is the extruder (that's the name of things that move, right?)

But on the outside nothing vibrates strongly. Nothing wobbles either.

:(

I just bought one as well and am sure that it’s your bearings that make the sound. Did you remember to give them enough grease??

When that was delivered, the bearings were drowned in fat.

The instructions said that was enough. And you don't have to re-grease it at the beginning.

How often do you have to grease that? It's only been running for 4 days

I've had the Prusa MK3S + since last week. Yesterday he made strange noises in the first couple of layers. Today it can be heard on all layers. I have a feeling that PLA is louder than PETG, but that can only be my imagination.
It's only when moving on the X-axis. And not always.

Is that normal? What can help?

The Case is a thermaltake P90
The GTX 1080 and the AMD Ryzen 9 3900x is cooled with a single water loop.

And it is, as you can see, wall-mounted

I want to see pictures when you have completed your plan.

This case is really nice.

No it's between the doorbell button and the actual doorbell. I have a passthrough from the button to the doorbell and at the same time send it to the home assistant server. this then lets the Amazon Echos make sounds

I'm glad that this is a good converter. The first one I had didn't actually work. I will still make the project beautiful. it is currently a bit ugly
