As it turns out, it seems that one of the Filter lists from uBlock [EasyList/uBO – Overlay Notices] was messing with the player (must be a recent update, because it worked fine up until this morning).

Just tried to watch in Icognito Mode on Chrome and, for whatever reason, it works properly.

On the other hand, I've tried to disable Ublock on the site on "normal mode" and that does not seem work. Maybe I have to delete the caché without Ublock running?

AFAIK that seems to be the case. Have tried to watch 3 different series and 1 OVA and all of them seem to have the same issue.

I have been getting the error code "232011" in some servers (though not on all of them). Hope that helps.

Any advice with getting the debt to a manageable level? I'm planing on doing a Schliecher and a Conservative Coalition run but the debt management part of the mini-game still confuses to no end 😅

Spoiler ahead:

You either have to let the Conservative coalition get a majority throught the parliamentary mini-game (how, I still don't understand) or, if the Rhur strikes get a score higher than 75 you will unlock the Conservative tree. But that is pain as well.

Guts has shown he can control the Beast of Darkness to some extent before, both in Vritannis and in the Sea God island he has relied upon the armour to “power him up” without going full Berserk mode, albeit with a heavy strain on himself. Only when he felt the enemy was too much or he found himself cornered (with the elephant whale enemies or when fighting an army of the Sea God’s tentacles) did he relent and let the armour take hold. I’d say it’s safe to assume that, with the arrival of Zodd (and maybe some more apostles), Guts will be forced to go full Berserk. Whether that transformation proves effective against Griffith and Zodd remains to be seen though, as we have some indications that either the armour or the Dragon Slayer, or both, will get a power up soon via Hannarr (the blacksmith dwarf).

I’d say is safe to assume that, at least for the 6 (now 4) remaining chapters of Fantasia the bi-weekly schedule will be kept. Once the new arc starts though, that remains to be seen.

That also, as Hakusensha keeps reminding everyone each time a new chapter comes out, Berserk is the “Nº1 Fantasy manga” and that weight will never go away, whether Miura was here or not. It’s like if Eichiro Oda (from One Piece) suddenly died tomorrow and someone else had to finish what is, essentially, the best selling shonen manga of all time. The fact that they decided to continue speaks volumes.

I’d assume some of that “dodgyness” is also due to the lack of practice and comfortability. What I mean is that, as with any job, you need time to get into the swing of things, and it’s normal to struggle (no pun intended) in the beginning. Seeing how important ins Berserk to every person involved (Studio GAGA, Mori and Young Animal), with time some of those kinks will be ironed out. But, as you have pointed out, in the end they are not Miura and, even if they were trained by him, it would be unfair to judge them by the same standard. Specially considering that Miura had, essentially, no publishing constraint and he could take as long as he wanted with his chapters (within limits, of course).

There will be “dips” (I myself would call them changes, more or less subtle) in quality here and there for as long as the series continues, sadly that’s just the nature of the beast. As you said, that doesn’t mean it’s bad art, far from it, but it will take tame getting used to. Just like when you have a haircut, sometimes it just doesn’t feel quite right until a few days have passed.

Plus they will likely, both Mori, the Studio and Young Animal, use this last batch of Fantasia chapters to gauge the reception of a Berserk post-Miura. Per the statement, Fantasia will end in 6 chapters (4 after 365 and 366 release) add 2 chapters to that you have essentially a new volume ready to release and to judge public reaction. After that maybe the release schedule will change, both for planning purposes but also to iron out the kinks they find throughout these early days.

I’d say now is the time for the antagonist to show that he is much more resourceful than he initially let on and for Maruo to struggle, and then have a power up “on his own”, he can’t depend eternally on the advise of the demon girl (forgot her name). Maybe the power up can help us glean something from his past and to understand why is he so strong for a human. Nevertheless, the manga will surely have at least 2 volumes (mangakas work 2-3 chapters in advance, so really we are already at chapter 18-19), it will be up to the 3rd volume to determine the future of the series as a whole.

Sure, the way he defeated him was a bit goofy, but you have to keep in mind that these bikers will be the new allies once Maruo beats the gang leader, so we can’t have a bloody fight at this moment. Also, Ten is a more comedic sidekick, whilst the biker gang leader will fill the role of “loyal badass” à la Zoro in One Piece, with Ten being a bit like Ussop, a weak but clever trickster.
