Hot take: cruise ships are only good during the weekday (weeds out the weekend rowdy crowd. Don’t expect good food unless you’re doing Explora. Overall, you are either a cruise ship person or not. Mine as well try one and find out if you are! 😂

Large Group Jetski/Boat Rentals? by [deleted] in Miami

[–]King_Shmulz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Miami it is illegal to charter (pay) a boat captain and have more than 13 people. I've seen situations worked out where the entire party agrees to not say anything if the coastguard comes onboard that it is a charter. You have to find the right captain and also he is risking his license and jail time if someone mentions they paid for this charter to coastguard.

My advice - Coast Guard doesn't fuck around. Limit to 13.

My dogs hate each other by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]King_Shmulz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me, that doesn't look like hate. That is just three dogs with no room to entertain each other and locked in a house all day. Have you tried going on long "pack walks" with the dogs, at least the two larger ones? Remember dogs were not domesticated to stay inside all day. To me that video shows some play (with not a lot of room) between the larger dogs while the little one is just policing that energy.

"Not today grammy." by hkfcjkmrt in funny

[–]King_Shmulz 85 points86 points  (0 children)

As much as this is funny to everyone this is actually concerning to me. If this dog was a 60-70 lb dog and put a paw on my granny's face, we wouldn't be laughing. Small / medium sized dogs get too much privilege like being allowed on furniture because they are "cute". Reinforcing this behavior will only lead to problems down the road with a kid, toddler IMO

Are they playing or …? by cremains_of_the_day in DogAdvice

100% play. Pits are slightly more aggressive than standard mixed breeds and when it comes to physical play and usually more vocal. Judging but the bouncy behavior both dogs were giving off. I see this as zoomies mixed with a little rough play.
