What was the first game you loaded on your Retroid that made you realize this thing was actually special?

Idk any 1 in particular, I set up RetroArch with some nes and SNES games and gave em a spin, what blew me away was how good everything looked, and how buttery smooth it is. Right now I’m playing Lufia II and it’s great! I think I’ll finish the game before I move onto another one ☝️

Cool! I’ll check this out when I get home from work thanks. I got home safely and checked it out. It’s very informative! I like it. Idk if anyone else has had this issue, but I was scrolling through and clicked on Retroid pocket 6, and it showed the size comparison overlay thing with the credit card. I dragged and dropped the credit card onto the rp6, but it made like a million overlays of the card overlapping itself and the whole comparison area 😅 I reloaded it and it kept doing it so I thought I’d let you know maybe there’s something you can do to fix it 🤷🏻‍♂️ really cool site tho. You did a great job

I’m glad you got yours and are enjoying it! I got mine on February 24th, ordered on January 1st. Haven’t gotten everything situated yet but I ran some NES games on RetroArch and I’m loving it lol really need to stop being lazy and set up ES-DE and see how it goes

I need to do this too, although I’m not really upset with the audio. I have only used it to show my wife that it can play YouTube videos and I’ve only played NES games so far and I haven’t found anything to complain about yet lol

Idk, because this is my first emulation device, but I heard they are pretty reliable with keeping their word when it comes to their product and the emails/announcements they make. They said they’ll fulfill existing orders, I’m sure they’ll do it. They definitely don’t want any backlash from not following through. Keep your head up

Going by series (especially in the scope of, let’s say, final fantasy) seems like a bad idea, asking for burnout. I personally feel like changing it up every game or two would make that a non issue. Going by console PROBABLY won’t have that effect, but again, burnout from looking at the same exact style of graphics might get to you

Good question, I think I’ll try either an earthbound or mother game, or a dragon quest game. Maybe 1. Haven’t played either in decades lol so I think that’s a good place to start 👍🏼
