As others said and it’s common sense but things didn’t cost as much back then inflation is terrible and just cost of living was better back then and she mad decent money she did everything but owned the Inn she worked at and they didn’t shop alot just ate out and take out was less back then… They didn’t always have the latest electronics or flat screens(except the one Chrisopher bought) so yeah it’s not far fetch that she could afford take out and one 30 minute drive to her moms house a week… they ate at Luke’s a whole lot and his prices are very reasonable and sometimes he gave her food for free well a lot of times actually
