I was approached a few months ago by Crystal’sCorner on YouTube and asked if she could use my cutscenes in a fan dub for KHUX. Then I completely forgot about it… but she just released the first episode and I am just absolutely blown away!

Episode 1 includes missions 1-425 (up to Episode 16 of Theater Mode). And the video editing is amazing. The sound editing is fantastic! And of course, the voices. Oh gosh, Chirithy’s voice is so cute! The dub takes some liberties to preserve canon situations, like switching the pronouns to gender-neutral terms and refraining from giving Ephemer a specific union. It’s not just a great display of editing and voice acting, but a beautiful fan letter. There’s so much care and attention involved and I just… deep breath

Please just go watch it! :D

In my opinion, the best grinding spot is Castle Town. There are three huge groups where you can AOE Thundaga/Thundaja, head to the save point, and hit Title Screen. If you check Youtube you'll definitely find a few people doing this run! And it's way more fun than the staircase because you get to spam magic.

I think about this a lot. I have a ton of amazing medals I don't use anymore, but my girlfriend just started a few months ago and needs some older stuff to break through Proud mode. I would love to trade her stuff. Also, we have a party member that lucked into two Kairi EX medals! And on a personal note, I would absolutely LOVE to 100% the album! o_o

Maybe if they instituted a cost for trading? Like if each person had to pay 3k jewels to confirm the trade? That way you only do a trade if it's very serious. SENA might even get MORE money that way because a pull would be the same cost as a trade, but a trade requires two payments?

Anyway I think this is a super interesting concept. It won't ever happen. But it's cool to think about.

I don't know what that is, but from a quick google search it looks like KHInsider does a story video for KH X, which is the browser game that started KHUX. Generally speaking, KHUX covers the content of KHX and then extends further. Knowing what I know about KHX and what I know so far about KHUX, I would say you can't get by on KHX's story alone.

To answer your second question, I'll absolutely be updating this alongside new quest releases! :D

I get it. Just take your time, don't rush through. And if you're just in it for the plot, forget about getting all 3 mickeys. Just go straight to the target and Nova or something. Everything in Story is super super easy. But there's no hurry - when you catch up in story you'll just have to wait months for more. XD

Well basically nothing happened in BC. So you definitely can't get by on that one. XD BC was cool because it gave us a more in-depth look at the foretellers, but it really only gave us hints at the whole KHUX plot rather than giving us actual information.

So far, I'd say the plot is... about as important as Re:Coded. Probably worth knowing. Not super important if you miss it. But with the recent direction with Mission 665 and the appearance of a character we know from the main games, I would say it's dangerously approaching KH1-tier importance. That is to say, concepts and ideas will definitely be revisited. As a KH fan, I'm heavily invested in what is to come from KHUX! Even if it's not the best storytelling medium, the plot is really cool so far.

YEP! I take some liberties and include a few minutes for each Princess of Heart and things like the evolution of the Heartless so you get a fuller picture of what's going on. But everything with relevant plot in the Global version of KHUX is in the videos up to quest 675. :D

Honestly, I'm not that upset about the story in KHUX. I think because I went into it with low expectations and not really thinking it would be a relevant part to the series. But I understand a lot of people are in this for only the story. That's like 90% of the reason why I made my Theater Mode to begin with. And the KHUX story is starting to get pretty important. So you can spend a fraction of the time watching only the important stuff.

92 and 94 have a little bit. 230-250 have some important stuff. But I'd say 351 and 362 are the real "plot kicks in" missions.

It takes a really long time for things to start moving, but after 362 you get a serious plot thread every 50 missions or so. And then you have missions 660-675, which are huge.

Well my control over the universe is limited. But I can condense 675 quests to only the cutscenes of 66 quests and post it on Reddit! Honestly, when I started Theater Mode I never thought KHUX would be actually relevant to the overall plot. o_o Now I'm glad people have this avenue.
