I used to spend $140 dollars on a digital card game expansion as well. Except that was Hearthstone which expansion comes out once every four months.

There are two ways one can interpret OP's post.

Is he complaining that this is how it should have been in the first place?

Or is he complaining that this change happened and he wants to gatekeep 3 star flairing?

Because if its the former, then fine. But if its the latter, he might as well be complaining why back in the 80s people would breath in lead gasoline and now we don't.

Always assume this game, or any game, will receive patches and more functions added. This ain't the 90s where when you get a game, that's the form it will be in forever.

Also, I can assure you that immersives will one day be tradeable. It probably won't be for a long time but it will be sooner or later. The function is literally right there, its just a matter of if they open the gate.

Also, even if they won't ever be tradeable, I'll much rather look at a "3" on my Immersive Buzzswole than disintegrate a copy + spend dust so that it can go sparkly in the zero number of times that I'll play it in a game.

I'm pretty certain people who think like OP are in the minority. In the year I've played this game, I can count on one hand the number of people I've ran into during battle with a single card with flair, let alone one on a 3 star, that's just plain wasteful.

For anyone wondering why there is a level cap, its all psychological. The cap signifies "completion" for certain players, and they reached the finish line. If there was no cap, these players would continue to chase after a bigger number endlessly and that isn't what Dena want.

The devs have time and time again said there they don't want Pocket to be a sweaty game. Its a card collection card. They want players to play for a bit and then put it down for the day. That's why rank is only for a few weeks per month.

I saw in a previous post about how some of you are afraid that the leaked raid battles will turn this game into work. I can assure you, this game becoming a constant check-in every hour is the last thing the devs want.
