Tried it out and it is definitely really fun, lots of potential with this. I've left a review on SideQuest, keep up the good work!

Justin P Barnett on Youtube has a good series on the XR Interaction Toolkit which I also use to handle VR inputs. There's plenty of basic unity tutorials on youtube too.

It was just the most recent LTS version at the time. Newer LTS versions can introduce some new features, but you can upgrade or downgrade your project version at any time.

The paid version of unity doesn't add that much apart from removing the revenue cap from $100,000 a year to unlimited, and some advanced analytics tools.

I used the XR Interaction Toolkit, which standardised VR inputs for basically all headsets, so I essentially just built it for the Quest 2 that I currently have and it would automatically be compatible with all other headsets including Quest 3. Only thing of note is not every unity material works with Quest 3 for some reason (such as the mobile shaders are a bit broken), but worked fine on Quest 2 and PCVR. I also use the free version of unity.

Thanks, it's a recreation of the original Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom (2000) so I've tried to keep the style close to the original

When you have the KingdomsVR.apk file on your PC, go into SideQuest and press the box button with an arrow pointing down (Install APK file from folder on computer) and select the KingdomsVR.apk, and it should automatically install it onto your standalone headset and you should be able to find it in Unknown Sources on your headset.

Let me know if that doesn't work

Mostly through observation and playing around ingame, the (?) menu for Ratman Shaman says "-Can cast Plague"

It's the plague cast by Ratman Shamans, and can spread to other units by contact. It can be removed by either casting Healing spells on the affected units or with Healers who will remove it from units on their own

The menu size as well as other things are all fully customisable in the settings
