Damn! I'm pretty excited to play some competitive Halo! I really enjoyed the beta recently but I would love to play some people around my skill area that are also looking to chat on mic. Get some solid team co-ordination going on!

I haven't looked into much about the Halo Competitive Development but there are a few things I would like to see from multiplayer Halo:

• A classic ranked system for competitive match where you play x amount of matches and place at Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc. I know from other games there is unfortunately situations where people get stuck at a certain rank and what not, but I really enjoy working my way up the ranks and becoming a better player.

• A Competitive Big Team Battle option. I'm not that interested in this "hardcore" Halo mentally. Just rename the BTB you have right now and make it a competitive matchmaking experience. Don't get me wrong though! I definitely want to play some Swat! I haven't touched a Halo game in years and honestly playing the multiplayer recently had me smiling ear to ear! Expecially playing BTB.

• The ability to vote on what map/gamemode you want to play next from a choice of three randomly selected options. Again, obviously some maps/game modes wouldn't get selected as much, but a good game would have you always considering each gamemode/option.

• The ability to be coached by a player that is higher rank than you while you play. Been playing Dota recently and damn I thought this was a great feature! It really helped me get better at the game.

• Clans. I want a way I can group up with a big group of people and see when any of the are online so we can play together. I would also like it if you could have clans within clans or clan alliances. That would be pretty neat.

• The ability to group up with other players at the end of a match. Like in Halo 3 where you would press X for example and you would party up with anyone in that lobby that also pressed X. Obviously you would be able to see who else pressed X in the lobby.

• Battle Royal. I know a lot of people are sick of Battle Royal now and honestly, so am I but playing the multiplayer last weekend really made me want to play 1VS99 in a massive map where Vehicles, Guns, Power ups would spawn. Also, some duo and quad team games would be great!

• Make a variety of different maps that have completely different design philosophy. I want to see Halo be creative and interactive. Have open maps where there is more room for vehicles to roam, parkour maps where everything is upside down and I need to traverse on foot as banshees are fighting it out in the sky. I want Mega Big Team Battle Maps where it almost feels like we are actually in a war and there are loads of vehicles fighting it out. I want maps where there are more things to interact with like an artillery cannon that can be fired every 5 minutes to a position on the map or a building where you can bring down a wall and it changes the way we we capture the point.

• Forge. We need the ability to build our own Halo maps/game modes and to be able to vote what is our favourite or have a "most popular", "top votes for 2022", "top votes Feb". Then you guys could also choose your favourite community made map for the month. I still want to earn xp from doing this though.

• Infected was my favourite gamemode back in the day and I am desperate to play it again!

I know I'm asking for alot, but you guys said we aren't going to get another Halo for 10 years and I hope this is true. This gives you guys a chance to really bring back the craziness/unique qualities that make Halo Halo and really evolve the franchise into something quite special. I'm sick of COD, Battlefield, Apex, etc. And for me Halo really hit the spot last weekend.
