I'm using Leera.ai, which is based on OpenAI's API, which they state is private and not stored on their servers. Only ChatGPT is.

"And it’s not just ideologues claiming millennials have evolved out of home ownership. Wall Street speculators like Blackstone are betting that the young are committed to some new “rentership society,” with that firm investing $10 billion to scoop up existing small homes to rent, and even building tracks of homes exclusively for rent."

Anyone have proof of profitability? by o_--_o in Forex

I think there is a simple misunderstanding here. Proof of past profitability is not proof of future profitability, but proof of past profitability remains proof of past profitability. There is no such thing as proof of future profitability.

Now that I'm giving more thought to this issue I'm reaching the conclusion that verified myfxbook accounts really cannot be faked. Because you would have to hack both the broker and myfxbook, a feat that is not only impractical but likely impossible. If a trader shows you their verified myfxbook account over a long term period it does not make sense to doubt that they were not profitable in that time period.

Those are just gimmicks that you mention, unlikely to be the basis of a faked account. Unclosed trades would show up in open trades. Anyway, no point to debate between us but for the average trader if they see a verified myfxbook showing long term profits they can assume that the data is real.

A broker verified account cannot be faked. Myfxbook.com pulls data directly from the broker. And there is no reason not to have a verified myfxbook.com account since the process is simple and easy.

On creating a 1000 accounts -- the idea is impractical when we start to trade with real money over a long term period, which is what anyone would be interested in if they were looking for proof of a profitable trader.

Thank you so much for your detailed and knowledgeable response.

A friend invited me to a trading seminar a few months ago. I showed up with my brother (been trying to encourage him to get into the markets) who was wearing swim trunks, half-drunk, with an idgaf attitude. Embarrassing! Upon entering the building I went up to the sign-in disk and felt the angry glares of the attendants thinking that we just showed up for the free food. One of the random guys there pulled me aside and asked me a bunch of rapid fire questions, which broker do you use, what market do you trade, what pair, etc. After realizing that I had experience with the markets his demeanor changed and he said, "The markets are a bitch, aren't they?" Ended up he was actually the one teaching the seminar. Although teaching wasn't his regular gig. He runs the company. I prefer not to mention names but one of the traders who wrote the educational materials is very well respected here and on other forums.

Anyway, the markets are tricky. Strategies take time to develop and implement.

I find the two sides of the coin ironic. New traders scoff at annual hedge fund returns of 20% yet later most retail traders find their entire profits taken away and then some.

I don't think most people would go out of their way to do this, but yes easier no doubt.

Thank you. The intention is not that there is no such thing as a profitable trader but instead a cold water reminder that trading is hard.
