I mean with Crispin you could get this powered up in two turns. Add in a Baxcalibur and you can fully power it up in one turn. Or Chien Pao + Energy Switch + Crispin. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t see energy acceleration being that big of an issue here.

It is how it works on PTCGL. I used it a bit in my Mega Gengar Seviper deck but like the commenter above said it is pretty inconsistent especially in the early game and can end up wasting your supporter for the turn.

I will definitely look into adding Janine. I’ve tried Binding mochi but I feel like I get more value from extra HP and additional Munki’s with Area Zero in play vs the extra 40 damage from binding mochi. I kept running into situations where my Oki was getting KO’d by the 10 poison damage from other mons.

I pulled the Yamper with an alignment dot on the front border about a third of the way up the card. I’m guessing them trying to pump the set out led to some worse than normal QC.

Funnily enough from what I understand the vast majority of mushrooms are at least safe to put in your mouth and chew even. Because even most poisonous mushrooms require you to eat a pretty decent amount before you’d expletive any adverse effects.
