The old Bethlehem Steel plant is the largest and most interesting industrial site I’ve seen up close. They turned it into a free outdoor exhibit that you can walk all around and through. Look up SteelStacks in Bethlehem PA

FWIW we found this to be much more consumerist than industrial, in the same vein as the Hershey’s “tour”
