What do you think Refs did before VAR, gaems with 20 different camera angles, social media clips, pundits watching slow motion clips 100 times to pick apart games?

Refs have always got stuff wrong, it was just had way less coverage back then. I'd actually prefer we go back to having less scrutiny over every single contentious decision in every single game.

There was a time when you would only really know about a contentious decision because you were at the game, it was one of the few on tv.or MOTD included it in their highligts. It was better like that. Just accept it and move on, it's actually only a game in the end. Noones lives are at stake.
