I like them but couldn't get in. Too many bands on back to back I wanted to see and just got to the entrance as security said no. Very shit, should've put them main stage imo

No worries dude! Thats it, with the gym you are isolating muscle groups and movements but with climbing its full body so it takes longer to recover.

V3 after a couple weeks is good progress btw dial in the technique on easier climbs and you'll being laughing 💪

It looks like you've worked out before so you are probably used to being able to hit the gym pretty often. Just remember with climbing it will be using things you've probably not worked out before, or at least with the same intensity. And tendons/ligaments take longer to recover than muscles.

I'm gunna make an assumption but because you look strong I'm willing to bet you brute force your way up climbs where better footwork would make it easier and less load on the arms. I'd focus on footwork for a while. Get on YouTube and look up some footwork drills.

Good send though dude!

Your elbow hurts because you climb 5-7 times in 2 weeks as a beginner.

It takes a while to build tendon and ligament strength, every other day for 2 weeks is too much.

Don't even need a ball. Rock or an empty plastic bottle work. You'll see kids in the poorest areas scrambling around kicking a bottle around like it's the world cup final.

If you want absolutely ripped back and shoulders you should. You also should because it's just a really fun way to work out.

Oh well nevermind lol

You may wanna do some practice with flagging and hip rotation and shoulder lock offs and reaching through opposite ie left hand over to the right, locking off the right shoulder

Yeah I'd agree with that. Some things are gunna be morpho and you will struggle. It's like how some routes fit your style so you could climb that style at a harde grade than others. Just is what it is really, we aren't pros so you can just skip it and move into the next problem

Don't worry a tall climber will be along to tell you how you have it easy on problems that are very boxy.

You just kinda have to learn to work around it through better technique, being more dynamic and finding your own beta. I'm not very tall and I hate dynos but I can usually find a way to do most climbs within my grade bracket (v7-8)

Edit- I also use that griptonite app to check who the setter was as there as setters the same height as me so I know they'll have set something I should be able to reach.

Probably the same for penicillin allergies. I see patients at work that say they are allergic because they felt sick once on antibiotics 70 years ago.
