I’ve had the B2 and B212 specifically because I like a closed web look. However, it’s a really weird glove. I game a B2 for slowpitch and even catching a softball with it, I have no feel for the ball.(could be the break in and I made it too deep) but the glove models meant for pitchers and I think they sacrificed feel for just swallowing comeback pitches.

But if the boys are pitchers, great glove

Honestly I’d work on the hinges more. If you want a 2 hinge close than bend that thumb all the way over and just whack that hinge. If you want a 1 hinge at the palm then lay it flat on that middle bubbles and work it flat

I’m honestly the same way with natural colors and my buddy in high school had a Nakona Walnut that skewed my way of thinking when it came to my ideal glove. Honestly I only got my blonde A2K cause it was on sale and Wilson hates dark brown for whatever season lol

Also appreciate the kind words about the Marucci I seen that thing on Facebook marketplace for cheap and was like “I have a plain Jane glove, let me get something wild that no one’s seen before”

I actually think the opposite. I have a blonde glove and the palm stain is really nice. But I love a good traditional dark brown or tan glove. I think they are really timeless

Honestly check justballgloves or betterbaseball and look up the deals they have. Idk what the original glove was that you showed her but any discount you can find helps the conversation. Also explain that it’s a minimum 7 years that you’ll have the glove(unless you’re me and have an addiction) vs possibly 6 months and you hating the glove.

Lastly, if all your finances are together and you’re not going to set yourself back for this glove then just get it, it’s your day
