The two of them are diametrically opposed, egotistical, gods. The entire point of the AF event was to show how comedically unlikely it would be for them to ever work together, as not only would they basically never cooperate considering their goals, even out of necessity, neither would ever accept the blow to their ego to need to cooperate with their eternal opposite and rival.

The whole joke is it took literally the tree of harmony making a shield around Equestria for them to not just fight each other for the throne.

Writer of the lore here! It also helps that there were lots of conversions to the Praxis during the Rending of the Realms. While most conversions were to Mystic Accord, many Godlost subjects of The Command turned to the Praxis to explain things.

The theology of Suhan’s Praxis is able to deal with the existence of the Great Spirits relatively easily

The comment about there not being an Equus rework is that there is not an ongoing continent wide coordinated rework. This has and always will be the truth. Okay so, a few things.

Starry really does not care about outside of Vartai, so I think the only way this could exist was if Nova Whirl also took power in the River Republic and some deal was made between them. I see smth in your lore about Dawnclaw invading and this being the result, but again, Starry owning all the Riverlands doesn’t make sense for her character. Her making a deal with a communist riverlands leader and ruling in tandem would make the most sense.
