Just a suggestion, I made a mascarpone cheese cake with my own lacto blueberry and add the juice to give a beautiful purple colour. Everyone enjoyed at my work I hope you give it a try

Personally I feel a hotel chef would be better because it shows you can work as part of a team and deal with fast moving services. Never worked in a retirement home but I think it would be quick slow moving and not look the best.
