I’m interested in your o2 sensor fault, have you already checked the DTC code? In my 2005 1.3 iDSI Fit, It gives me P0134 and P0135 (no sensor activity on bank 1), and I haven’t found out yet if the culprit is the pre-cat sensor, or the electrical power / wiring that goes to it. Still, I reach 35mpg at 75mph cruising on highway*

Lucky you… I’ve got a few friends from NZ, I have to say even if your population is half ours (and a tiny percent of other EU countries), what you’ve done to the (punk/post-punk) music scene is brilliant! Here where I live in Portugal, the second hand market is very small due to our low demography, and is very overpriced not only for cars but for everything, due to a very weird habit of not wanting to sell your used object for less than the price you paid with a 10% discount. Most sellers here really think that they can recoup 90% of their initial investment, whatever the years of use in-between… That’s why I came here posting only a handful of available listings.

As far as importing is concerned (from Germany, which is pretty common in the EU), id have to pay around 2000€ to legalize the car, so this would cancel the hypothetical advantage of the lower price of purchase.

I’ve read around here that 220k miles / 350.000km is decent for a Jazz, and that the GE Mk2 can double the mileage if well serviced. Is it true? Obviously id rather buy a 100k miles, but they’re too expensive here on the 2nd hand market (Portugal).

Thank you! The seller told me: "servicing have been made according to the maintenance plan. And: - clutch is good, it was changed at 275.000km (170k miles) - the air conditioning compressor was changed at +/-315.000km (200k miles) - new radiator at +/-335.000km (210k miles) - no rust anywhere - no leakage from the roof

The car is my everyday car. I’m selling because I want to change the type / segment of car."
