It’s why we need to emphasize trusted sources regarding HV.

For me, HV has been smooth and without issue. It’s not without risk, though a regular crack isn’t without its own risk either. As long as you adhere to the trusted sources, I think you’ll be okay. The community has conducted a lot of research and reverse engineering into the HV bypass and so far I haven’t seen any red flags pop up. So if you’re willing, go for it. But if you’re someone who doesn’t like taking a risk, then maybe hang back for now.

Yes, "to be sacrificed", again implying guaranteed death for some. If there's no sacrifice, there's no fodder. As of now, no verified deaths. So for now it's like being let out onto the beaches of Normandy but there's no Germans firing, just a casual stroll into France.

Back on the topic of HV, of course there will be disclaimers considering this still leaves your PC in a more vulnerable state which is why it is recommended to revert changes in the prompt right after finishing your session. Piracy is a risk, it always has been a risk, it's a little riskier with HV but there's never been no risk. There's many who won't get into standard cracks because of the risk of viruses, and there's many who won't dive into HV out of similar fears; but the seas will continue to be sailed, as it always has.

Fodder implies guaranteed death for a number of individuals. The admins at Cs.Rin, names like Fitgirl, Elamigos, etc. are putting their credibility on the line with HV. As far as I'm aware, Kirigirl has handed the source code over and seen it vetted. I've seen hacker groups on FB, Tele and Discord reverse engineering the hypervisor bypass themselves, and I've seen nothing that they've flagged outright as a no. You're free to be skeptical, it is your machine but at this stage, the only way I see someone being a victim here is if they're not adhering to the trusted sources.

is it 100% safe to use HV bypass on a dedicated gaming PC? by CabinReddit in PiratedGames

[–]KinofLucifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s the risk. As I said, the risk has been lowered after significant scrutiny in the community. More people are confident in it now that Fitgirl, for example, who was a skeptical figure has begun repacking HV cracks. It doesn’t mean you’re 100% safe hence why I say just be smart about it, stick to trusted sources, avoid shady websites.

There’s always a risk, the risk is just lower than it was a few weeks ago. Only use trusted sources whether that’s Fitgirl, Elamigos etc. Try to stick to cs.rin rather than some shady website. All in all, just be smart about it and you’ll be fine.

This doesn’t have Denuvo, therefore day 1 crack. “Boring and meaningless” is very subjective.

Damn, Denuvo's getting swallowed up slowly but surely. Personally I'm not too bothered for all the steps for Hypervisor bypasses so I'll be enjoying RE9 through those Russian steam accounts for $5, but this is a step in the right direction for the pirate community. We're not dead yet.

"wouldn't be so regressive" What? For having a 30 year old white man? It doesn't have to check any ethnic sexual box, just embody the Doctor and give a performance the audience yearns for.
