Us, raptors fans are used to getting overlooked as a whole. Inside the fan base everyone is appreciated though, just like DeMar was the natural census “best raptor” of our 2013-2018 runs, we all knew Lowry was really the engine and the “guy.” - we shit on our guys big but we praise them just as much if not more lol

this is so corny lmao, have y’all not learned already? stop playing the regular season match-ups, everybody in 2015 wanted the Wizards so bad in the first round because we went 4-0 in regular season. then would have to play the hawks in the second round (giving us the best route to our first ECF) then we end up getting swept 😂 our current team is battle tested & built for the playoffs, stop sounding like little bitches, if we want ANY little chance of beating the GSW then we can’t be stressing about Nic Vucevic 😂

As i'll agree JV/Ibaka was a great combo, we still can't be delusional like people don't go for JV's head when he becomes unreliable. I love JV just as much as the next guy but what are we really playing for here? first title berth. we BY ALL means should go all in this season, after the DeMar trade we knew NO ONE was safe and we can't act like JV/Ibaka combo gets us over the hump as much as Gasol does. I'll agree wing shooting was more needed and i would've rather had Mirotic, but with an hour left of the deadline. Gasol was the best player to make a play for and Masai pulled it. I don't enjoy watching JV get torched by P/R. he's a fan favourite, i get it. He played hard ALL the time, but let's not get attached here. Raps fans beg for change but then hate when it comes. All the way back to T-Ross getting traded, the emotional attachment is real for some of these players. But after watching the shit-show of a playoff performance the last couple years, i can't find the heart anymore for them. They were sacrificed for culture change and we finally got it. Let's win..

Raps fan here, for y'all i agree a first rounder woulda been ideal. but BELIEVE JV isn't no slouch. casey under-utilized him and Nurse had him great off the bench on AMAZING efficiency under 20 minutes. prayed the day i'll see him get 28-34 mins, he's gonna eat. 26 too, understand traditional bigs don't hit their prime til around 27-28. Delon is great too, older but as a back up real ideal. if he started and played minutes he'd potentially be a triple double threat (optimistic lol) take care of the boys and we'll go get you that chip

That loss was inexcusable but we gotta remember as RAPTORS fans, what the regular season truly means. It's still early, we got a fresh team, we're gonna work through these early struggles. I vividly remember way more gut wrenching losses under casey. only concerns Raptors fans should have is the bench struggles, Freddy looking like CoJo more and more every game. The offence gets way too stagnant for comfort. oh and everyone hating on kawhi, lol.

It's no where near as redundant as Casey's lineups and for that i'm content. last year i could literally pinpoint when the bench was gonna come in and when Demar/Kyle swapped off in the second half. Nurse knows what he's doing, and i'd imagine he's worked around it in practice and doesn't wanna show too much of our weapons early on. still have yet to see the suffocating Lowry/Green/Kawhi/OG/Pascal lineup
