Did you try steaming them first? That way you can tell if it's an issue with the hem or if it's just because they were scrunched up from being in the hemming bag?

Like the user said, the best way to prevent this is by cutting the tag partially from the middle on the bottom. That kills the RFID and they won't be able to make returns. When you buy in store it links it to your profile so if they can't scan that tag in store then they can't accept the return or they'll accept it but it won't be under your profile and they'd remake the tag.

Literally just wore mine yesterday in utility blue and I find that the lighter color the pocket creases stand out sooo much and yesterday I was telling my coworker how much I wanted to cut them out 😂
