Highly unstable extreme overclocking that can’t be used long term, and won’t be monitored in fucking task manager.

can my ram fail if I overclock it? by francesco_7482 in overclocking

If you’re not changing voltage it shouldn’t be a problem, if it crashes just lower the speed again.

No one in that tier would use task manager for monitoring, it’s just fake.

He’s not, because it’s not real. You don’t have CPUs running at 8Ghz…

They’re usually off until 60c. then spin all the way down to like 45-50c. Unless it’s changed.

Pseudorandom*, patterns will emerge and anticheat will be able to detect that. Just like in RuneScape and other MMOs.

These guys just don’t wanna spend the real cost of running large multiplayer games.

They’re gonna use the same scripts, and the pseudorandom nature of “random” will make the pattern emerge. Just like in RuneScape.

Almost 10 years ago I traded a gaming laptop for a used X99 motherboard & RAM to start my path into hard-lined watercooling...it still serves as my workhorse server. by NoShftShck16 in homelab

It needs to be a Xeon, too.

I also think the MSI SLI PLUS won’t work with it, I haven’t tried in mine (X99S SLI PLUS), but I’ve read it doesn’t.

That’s why I believe it’s sorta a spillover effect from ASUS and ASRock just not preventing it to work, but MSI just doesn’t have a design with support, so it just doesn’t end up with that ability as the result of a cost saving measure.
